Lester McClure, 61, slaesman
CHARLOTTE - Lester McClure of 4791 BattleCreek Road, and a lifelong resident of the Eaton County area, died Sunday. He was 61.
McLure was raised on a farm as a child and was active in the farming community for many years, said his son Richard.
In 1944, McClure bought his first milk truck and hauled mulk until 1967. Two years ago he retired from his position as a machinery salesman for Maple Valley Implements in Nashville.
In addition to his son, McClure is also survived by his wife, Wanda; four daughters, Diane Watson and Bonnie Sedore, both of Charlotte; Carol Franciscotty of Connecticut and Stephanie Burt of Eaton Rapids.
Services will be 2 pm Wednesday at the Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte.
