Daniel Chamberlain married 15 April 1718, Elizabeth Brown of Mendon, MA. When the mariage was recorded at Boston he was listed as "of Oxford", MA. In 1720 he was a constable and a moderator of the town meeting in Oxford. By 1722 he was living in Colchester, Conn. 22 Jan. 1722/23 as a resident of Colchester he purchased 50 acres in Colchester on the highway to "Jeremy's River." He sold this property 2 Dec. 1745, stating that it was the farm on which he lived. In 1729 he was one of the organizers of the church of Colchester at Westchester, Conn. He was a Lieutenant of the Train Band at Colchester in 1740. No record has been found of his death or that of his wife. [Source: Chamberlain Assoc. News, Vol. 4, #3, p. 2]. C. C. Chamberlain says he was buried at Colchester, CT. FindAGrave had placed him as buried Midland Cemetery, Worcester Co, MA with no proof.
