Sevena Whittle Flanagan was the daughter of Francis Whittle and Sarah Cole Whittle. She married James Flanagan on March 26, 1745. They had 4 children:

Whittle born Nov 18, 1749 Louisa Co, VA died 1830 Franklin Co, AL
James Winwright born Nov 11, 1752 died April 10, 1838 in Louisa Co, VA
Mary born c1751, died after 1821 m. 1) Stephen Perkins (sic- it was PETER HOPKINS!), 2) John M Haden
They built a home called "Red Hill" in the Greensprings District of Louisa County, VA in 1747 and it is located south of Route 22 on the west side of Route 15 near the waters of Hudson and Bunches' Creeks. In old maps there is a road called "Red Hill Trail" leading off Hwy 15 (South of Route 22) that led to the house. The house is still standing and remains in the possession of Flanagan descendants.
After her husband James's death in 1752, she married Edward Lane and had at least three more children (Isham, Edward and Ann/Nancy).
Sometime after 1 Jun 1810, Sevena died at the home of her son James Winwright Flanagan.
