In the Name of God, Amen, I Peter Hopkins of Louisa County in the Parish of Fredericksville being in perfect health of mind & of sound Memory to make and ordain this to be my last will & Testament in manner & form as followth. (Item) I give & devise unto my Loving Wife Mary Hopkins, Two Hundred Acres of Land which i now live on lying on _____ Creek in Louisa County. (Item) I give & devise unto her one Negro boy Moses also all my stock of horses Cattle sheep hogs & household furniture of every kind to her & her heirs forever. (Item) I will and direct & appoint my wife Mary Hopkins sole Executrix of this my last will & Testament as Witness my hand and seal this fifth Day of October one thousand Seven Hundred & Seventy Nine.
