WALTER GLEN JONES
Funeral services for Mr. Walter Glen Jones, age 84, 8611 Depot Rd., Lynden, Wash., were conducted on May 14th the First Baptist Church of Lynden with Rev. Jack Anderson officiating. Burial followed in Lynden Cemetery.
Born in Van Buren, MO, Mr. Jones moved to Whatcom County, Wash., in 1943. A retired former, he was a member of the Goshen Grange and had attended the First Baptist Church. His wife Gladys preceded him in death in 1947.
He is survived by eight sons, Wayne & Lee, both Lynden, Albert of Everson, Earl of Albany, Ore., Jesse & James, both of Hopewell, Va., Clarence of Prince George, Va., and Marshall Jones of Henderson, NC; five daughters, Edith Schauman of Everett, Edna Sparks of Marysville, Linda Carroll of Seattle, Alice Mullen of Sedro Woolley and Juanelda Montgomery of Bossier City, La.; 37 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry Jones of Van Buren and Bill Jones of Florida.
Mr. Jones passed away on May 12, 1983.
