Jacob apparently married his cousin.
Will written 21 Mar 1837; probated, Nov 1837, Shelby Co, KY.
To beloved wife Katharine, the tract of land I live on, 142 acres during her natural life or widowhood and all personal property and cash on hand. Son Andrew Jackson Fry to take charge of his mothers concerns especially any surplus as they dispose of for their mutual benefit. I have given my son David the tract he lives on, 80 acres, and to keep passway to my stone dwelling house to the Bardstown road. Have given my daughter Elizabeth Huss $580 including 58 acres ($400) equal to $580. Given to son John $500, to son Isaac, $300. Given to son Jacob Jr. $380; to daughter Rebecca Smock, $200. Given to my dec'd daughter Hannah Harris, $120; to daughter Katherine Brooks, $100; daughter Mary Ashby $300; daughter Rachel Claggate $160; daughter Rhoda Harris $150.
My children should not demand of each other excep daughter Nancy Stivers to receive $100. The resideue to be divided equally - Hannah Harris' children to receive her part. Son A. J. Fry, the tract given his mother to descend in fee simple. Children to receive in proportion to what has been given in order to make them equal, except for sons A. J. & David to receive only what they have been given.

All three witnesses testified to accuracy. Executors as stated appointed; bond with Charles Bright & Warner B. Jesse in amouny of $8000.
The Bean family believe that it is this Jacob, son of Jacob & Molly, that was married to the daughter of Mordecai Bean, Betsy (Elizabeth), wife of Jacob Frye, as named in a lawsuit following the settlement of Mordecai's estate.
I believe instead Betsy Bean was married to Jacob Frye, son of JOSEPH Fry and the Bean family and FindAGrave are likely in error.
