Christina Frye

Found two deeds in Shelby County KY concerning the heirs of Christina Frye daughter of Benjamin Frye. The first is from 1825 and lists John and Nathaniel Cartmell of Ohio as the grandsons of Benjamin Frye. The second is from 1842 and lists the heirs of Benjamin as John Frye, Catherine Hite, Nathaniel Cartmell, Sarah Hershman (Cartmell), Rebecca Markley (Cartmell), and John Cartmell. Sarah Hershman was incorrectly linked in FamilySearch to the wrong parents. I have fixed her and attached her to her correct parents. She was married in Ohio in 1810. Her actual grave lists her name as Sarah Christina Hershman. I don't know if know if anyone who is working this line. But the two deeds may be helpful.
Correction, I know you don't follow the Cartmell, but wrote somethings to you that I need to updated. I have made some correction to John Cartmell (Sr) who married Christina Frye (daughter of Benjamin Frye of Shelby County, KY). Christina Frye must have died about 1801, as John Cartmell Sr was the one who married Ann Pearson in 1802 Frederick County, VA. Many had John Cartmell Jr born about 1785, sources now support him being much younger, and the child that mention being a minor over the age of 14, in 1817, is John Cartmell Jr. John Cartmell Jr and Nathaniel Cartmell are listed in a new documented in 1825 in Shelby County, KY which lists Benjamin Frye as their grandfather and that they both reside in Coshocton County, OH . So that means that he was born before 1801, most likely the late 1790s. Probate records in Coshocton County, OH for John Cartmell Sr list Nathaniel Cartmell (administrator) which probably mean he is the oldest. And documents where they both are lists Nathaniel first. I have updates/corrected all my sources with new documents I have found.
