Churchill Blakey is listed in Knight's Roster of Ga. Revolutionary Soldiers, p.327
This Churchill and his brother Joseph and many of the Anthonys (relatives of their wives who were sisters, moved to Wilkes Co GA. The Tax Records suggest Joseph and Winifred moved about 1790; Churchill and family followed in 1795. A "Churchwell" Blakey paid tax for one year in 1786 - perhaps he went earlier to buy land, returning to Virginia.

Boling Anthony, admin of Micajah Anthony dec'd, late of Wilkes Co GA to John F. Cox of South Carolina. Obligation of Micajah Anthony in his lifetime dated 1 Jul 1791 - bound to Churchill Blakey in the sum of 500#'s sterling. If Anthony should make a conveyance to a tract of 900 acres in Franklin Co, surveyed by John Temple in the name of Micajah Anthony. Said obligation was by Churchill Blakey on 26 Jan 1811 endorsed to John F. Cox at the Court of Ordinary in Wilkes Co. Title to be made to John F. Cox. Signed: Boling Anthony
