Maud resident R.H. "Okie" House, 66, died Sunday at his residence.
House was born March 8, 1931, in Boles, Ark., to John Rickman House and Katie (Crump) House. He married Dorothy Mae Abbott on June 28, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas. He moved his family to Maud in 1970.
House was an upholsterer and a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy House of the home; three sons, C. David House of Humble, Texas, Harlon R. House of Frederick and J. Michael House of Newalla; two daughters, Diane K. Matlock of Stroud and Janetta L. Wood of Seminole; five brothers, Robert House of Sasakwa, Jesse Ray House of Tyler, Texas, Ben House of Muskogee, Johnny Lee House of Humble, Texas, and Paul House of Mustang; two sisters, Willadean Payne of Konawa and Alta M. Wright of Fort Worth, Texas; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a grandchild.
Services wil be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Maud with the Rev. Wesley Martin and the Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Burial will be at Cummings Cemetery under the direction of Knight Funeral Home in Maud.
