Genealogical & Personal Memories has Ichabod's parents as John Wilkinson and Huldah Aldrich. This is wrong as Huldah married the second Samuel Wilkinson and Ichabod was their youngest child.

Born Rhode Island; removed to Bucks County PA (Wrightstown) about 1742. Erected a forge in 1753 at New Hope PA

Brother-in-law, Benjamin Thayer was Ichabod's guardian. When Ishabod reached his majority, he followed his uncle John to Pennsylvania.

Notes

Birth

There is some confusion about the wives named Huldah. I also think the birthdate of Ichabod may indicate he is in the wrong family. More work needs to be done on this line.
