Chet was born August 21, 1926 to Chester and Lilian Frazier in Tulsa, OK. He went home to the Lord March 6, 2010.
Chet was raised in Tulsa and attended local schools. Upon graduating high school he joined the Navy under the V12 unit. He attended Louisiana State University. After his discharge he continued his education at Kansas University. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He took a job with Shell Oil Co. that started in Midland, Texas and spanned the world and lasted 40 years. On July 19, 1950 Chet married Jo Frances Fulcher. That union lasted nearly 60 years. Together they raised three children. Chet was the cornerstone of the family. His strength of character and devotion to his family instilled a strong sense of unity in all of their children. Chet's love of adventure led the family to the far reaches of the world. He shared his love of tennis with his family and it was an honor for his daughter S to join him and the legendary "nooners" at the Bakersfield Racquet Club for weekly matches. Chet and Jo's love of traveling took them all across Europe and the country. They enjoyed a pilgrimage to Lisieux, France to the home of St. Therese. Chet joined Monsignor Swett on several trips and especially enjoyed his trip to the Holy Land. He went on Safari in Africa. Photographic, of course. He traveled to New Zealand with his son-in-law. The last trip Chet went on was to Santa Fe with his daughter S to visit his dear friend. The faith that Chet and Jo shared was the bond that held them together. Their love of the Catholic faith and OLPH church was so strong. Their friends in the Italian Catholic Federation were so special to him. He always said he was the only protestant Okie in the ICF. It was Chet's charitable heart that set him apart. While he had many causes that he supported the one dearest to his heart was the R.M. Pyles Boys Camp. He served as President of the board and was a tireless fundraiser for over thirty years. Chet is survived by his wife Jo, their three children. They have nine grandchildren; Also two great-grandsons.
