Kirk L. Foster, 64 of 7401 Booth, Prairie Village, president of the Burgner-Bowman-Matthews Lumber Company, died today at Research hospital.
Mr. Foster was taken to the hospital Thursday after an illness of about a month.
He was born in Warrensburg, MO and lived in Webb City, Mo, 22 years before moving to the Kansas City area. He lived here 12 years. He was with the lumber company 44 years.
Mr. Foster was a member of the Broadway Methodist Church.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Marie Foster of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Claude Wyrick, Jr., 7800 W. 64th Street, Overland Park; two brothers, Ralph Foster, Cedar Vale, KA, and Russell Foster, Sparks, NE; a sister Mrs. Charles Coe, Cedar Vale, and two grandchildren.
The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Keystone class memorial at the church.
