...Matthys' marriage banns state he was from Jutland (Denmark). Researchers of the Van Horne/Van Horn family need to be aware that there is another, unrelated and distinct, Van Horn family found in New York and New Jersey.

Unfortunately, some researchers have already placed Matthys Cornelisson in this very different and very wrong Van Horn family from The Netherlands.
