Suffolk County Court, 29 Oct 1678. List of those who took the Oath of Allegiance from Dorchester includes Consider Atherton.

Consider Atherton died on the Canada Expedition to Quebec, 1690. He was a son of Humphrey Atherton, b. Lancashire, England, died in Dorchester 17 Sep 1661, and his mother was nee Mary Wales who died 1672.
