William is said to have died in Danville, 21 May 1886.

Died, at his home in Danville, on the 21st inst., William Armsrong Adams, after a lingering illness, from concumption. The deceased was born on Fishing Creek, in Pulaski County, this State in 1818. At the age of 28 years he was married to Elizabeth Ashley. Eleven children were born to them, nine of whom are still living.....

Elizabeth died 7 Sep 1911, Columbia, Boone, MO of capillary bronchitis. She was born 15 June 1828 in Casey County, KY. Her parents were Jno. Ashley and Elizabeth Montgomery, both born in Kentucky. Her daughter Mrs. Irvan Rose of 610 Range Line was the informant. Buried Columbia Cemetery.

Mrs. Elizabeth Adams, mother of M. G. Adams, proprietor of the Plantors Hotel, this city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rose of Columbia, early Thursday morning.
She previously contracted a very deep cold which resulted in her death. She was 84 years old.
Mr. Adams, of this city, went to Columbia Thursday at noon to attend the funeral and burial of his mother. She has four other children, all girls, living. Her hsuband died 25 years ago.
