William's will was probated in Surry Co, 15 May 1750. It was dated 13 Jan 1749, and William Maybry left his entire estate to his friend, Robt. Echols. Witnesses were Thos. Wynn, Wm. Parham, John Jackson, and Robert Jackson. Edward Echols was appointed administrator, because Robert, his son, was not yet age 21.
