Rachel KELLAR

( - )

Rachel and Benjamin Matthews are said to have had the following children: Abraham, Isaac, William, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Sarah.

FindAGrave entries (without proof) state that both Benjamin and Rachel died in Warren Co, VA and are buried in the Mathews Cemetery. Actually Benjamin died in Shenandoah County. Rachel was living when she presented his will in court April, 1797.

Apparently Benjamin "Mathes" left a will, perhaps in Shenandoah Co, circa 1796 that names the above children. (Will Book E, p.81?)
One reference states that Abraham Kellar witnessed the will of Alexander Mathes, Sr. 5 Sep 1783. (probated Shenandoah Co circa 1786)
