Mark McGohan Jr.

Old Ft. Harrod State Park (KY-I think) has the Mark McGohan Cabin which still contains possessions of the family. 16 June 1774, Capt. James Harrod & 32 men left PA for KY and laid out the town of Harrodstown.
DAR Lineage: Mark McGohan, Jr., enlisted in 1775 in a company of Rangers and, 1776, served under Capt. Van Swearengen, Col. McCoy's 8th Pennsylvania regiment, Continental Establishment, enganed in the battles of Germantown and Brandywine. In 1818 he applied for a pension, which was allowed.
