Edith Juanita Pippin
(14 Jul 1919 - 7 Jul 2008)
Miss Juanita Pippin was married 1 Apr 1938 in Hunt Co, TX, to J. B. Deatherage by C. W. Shaw, Ordained Minister.
In 1940, Juanita and Jack were living in Pecan Gap, Delta Co TX. He was 22, she was 20 and Mary G. age 2. The enumerator wrote the surname as Dearthergh and gave his name as "Jock" and hers as "Imogine". The next couple's wife was an Imogine - that's the only way I can think he came up with the name. The index was even worse ...but there's no question this is the right coupls.
