Acton was born Oct 27 1873 at Keokuk, Iowa. He was married to Nancy E. Wood, Aep 27, 1894, at Uniontown, Arkansas. The couple moved to Claremore, Okla., where he owned and operated a furniture store for several years. In 1929 he retired and moved to Cusing and had lived here since that time.
Relatives are his wife, Mrs. Nancy E. Acton of the home, one niece, Mrs. Carl Murphey of Ponca City, a former Cushing resident, and one nephew, C. V. Acton of Santa, Barbara, Calif.
