Married James Nathan Cradduck, 8 Dec 1939; she was Vesta Lockard at the time, so apparently this was a 2nd marriage. Seems to have been her rhird marriage - see 1940 census. It was the 3rd marriage for Cradduck as well.
James Nathan was the son of John Wesley Cradduck and Penelpha J. Phillips. Vesta was his 3rd wife, having married (1) Bertha Shields, and (2) Ella Louise Lane. He was born 29 Dec 1878, died 14 Nov 1945.

Mrs. Vesta Cradduck
VAN BUREN - Funeral for Mrs. Vesta Cradduck, 60, of Mountainburg (Crawford County), who died Friday, will be at 2 pm Tuesday in the Chester Community Church. Burial will be in Vaugt Cemetery by Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. She was a native of Crawford County. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Bruce Lockard of Fayetteville and James Nathan Cradduck of Mountainburg: a daughter Mrs. Patsy Myers of Exeter, Calif.; four brothers, Roy Harrison of Booneville, Verl Harrison of San Diego, Calif., Randall Harrison of Mountainburg and James Edward Harrison of the Army in Ft. Polk, LA; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Meadors of Mountainburg, Mrs. Inez Davis of Little Rock and Mrs. Amy Mae Hays of Fort Smith, and six grandchldren.

James "Big Jim" Nathan Cradduck, 62, Payette, left this earth to be with his parents, "Mom" (Barbara), sister (Pat) and son (Brent) on Friday, Oct 24, 2008.
.....Jim was born in Chester, Ark., on Mar 28, 1946, to James and Vesta Cradduck. He grew up hunting and fishing in the Ozark mountains. After searching the country, he came to find his home in the Treasure Valley in 1972. While working at Skyline Farms, he met his future family and wife. Jim and Mary Dawn married in 1978.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, best friend and soul mate, Mary Dawn; children Angie (Mike), James (Laura), Paula (Mike), Scott (Angel), Charles (Mandy), Nathan; 16 grandchildrn; and many more than knew him as Dad or Papa; brother, Kenneth (Aileen); Don and Margaret Haat, "Dad and Mom"; brothers-in-law, David (Gwen), Wayne (Becky); and sister-in-law, Stormie (Robert); plus many nieces and nephew.
