Individual Details

A lawsuit dated 13 Jan 1830, recorded in "Early Records of Wilkes Co" named the heirs of Isaac McClendon as: William, Simpson, Penelope who married Burwell Aycock, Clarissa who married Zimri Tait, both of whom preceded Isaac in death. Lewis McClendon, a son, also died before his father. Francis a son, was administrator of his brother Lewis. Dorothy married James Walker who was administrator of Isaac.

A Deed of 10 Feb 1818, Wilkes Co GA Book CCC, p.395: Isaac McLendon transferred ownership of the slaves, Bill and Jin, to his son Louis McLendon.
