In 1801 he is listed as a laborer with o n e Cow, 1803 he had a horse and a cow and a year later he had two h o rses and two cows. This sounds like a prosperous and ambitious young m a n. The last record of him in Georges Twp. is in 1804. Nimrod probably w e nt west like the rest of his family. There was a Nimrod Ashcraft in Bu t ler Co. Ohio in 1807 and he is listed in the 1806, 1810 , 1820 a n d 1825 tax lists for Butler Co., Ohio.
