This letter reads: Fannet Towns h ip Cumberland County path-vally August Ye 23d 1783 Loving Brother and s i ster These are to let you know that we are all in health at present fo r w hich we have reason to be thankful tothe Almighty for ye Manyfold me rc ies which he is dayly Confering on us. Dr. Brother we Receved yours b e aring Date July 26 which was a great Saticefectionto us to hear of you r b eing in a Reasonable state of health and in the land of the living a s y ou write that you are greatly broken in bodily Strength. I Expect th at y ou will be Endeavouring to be puting our Lord & Saveour Jesus Chris t f or RIghtousness & Strength so that as ye outward man is Decaying day t o d ay you may be renewed in the inner man and rest on Christ for your__ __ ___Salvation.
