The deposition of Daniel Stuart of CC, aged about 58, w h o declares that about 8-9 years ago, he was present at a survey made ( b y Colo Robt: Hanson, then Surveyor of CC) on a tract of land called De l radie, for Wm: McPherson, at which time, this deponent, at the request o f t he sd McPherson, bounded a red oak standing on the south side of a S to ny Hill, which he understood to stand in the NW line of a tract of la n d called Bryerwood, belonging to Thos: Mudd, which tree was bounded fo r t he beginning tree of sd land called Delradie.
