Posted at Find-A-Grave.com: Betty Morphis, 78, of Chattanooga, Tenn. went peacefully in her sleep August 03, 2009, to be with her eternal family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Jesse Lewis; husband, Harold Maynard Morphis; two sisters and three brothers. Betty is survived by her brother, Amo Lewis; son, Charles Dunn; daughters: Sherry Dempsey and Vicki Murphy; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone with Hospice of Chattanooga. Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace.
