Eureka Humboldt Standard, Eureka, California, March 20, 1961, Page 21, Col. 2: Wilbur Lucian Duff, 81, of Eureka died Saturday night. Born in Petrolia February 30, 1880, a member of the Humboldt County pioneer Wright family, he had lived in this area all of his life. He had been employed as a rancher in Carolotta for many years and on Humboldt Hill for 28 years, retiring 17 years ago. Last October, he and his wife, Rosa, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Duff, Eureka; daughters, Mrs. Lucille Brauner and Mrs. Elaine Kirkpatrick, both of Eureka; brother, Elton Duff, San Diego; sisters, Mrs. Bertha Frier, San Bernardino, and Mrs. Iona Eidt, Auburn; grandchild, Mrs. Paula Mae Ford, Eureka; three great grandchildren all of Eureka and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Pierce Mortuary, with interment at Sunset Memorial Park.

Senter officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Milton Yates, Walter Eich, Milton Moore, Frank Titus, Sim Zane and Roy Stevens. Honorary pallbearers will be John Paseo, John Smith, Edgar Herron and Wilbur Mitchell.
