Anchorage Daily News, Anchorage, Alaska, August 20, 1989, Edition: Final, Page: C4: Palmer resident Stewart Lee Lemons, 48, died Aug. 15 at Humana Hospital Alaska. A visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Brayfield Funeral Service, 102 West Callie, Sesser, Ill. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Brayfield Funeral Service in Sesser with the Rev. Dan Williams of the Christian Church in Sesser officiating. Mr. Lemons was born Nov. 26, 1940, in Scheller, Ill. He had lived in Alaska for 20 years. He had worked as an electronics technician for the last 28 years. Most recently, he was working for Alascom in Palmer. Mr. Lemons was a member of the Isaac Walton Gun Club and was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, dogs and the outdoors. Mr. Lemons is survived by his mother, Grace, of Sesser; his brother Jerry, of Du Quoin, Ill.; his sisters, Connie McBride, of Sesser, Judith Scott, of Sesser, and Brenda Arriaga, of California; four nephews, three nieces and two great nieces. Local service arrangements were by Kehl's Forest Lawn Mortuary and Crematory. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Grace Lemons, Route 1, Box 325, Sesser, Ill., 62884.
