Mount Vernon Register-News, Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Saturday, May 29, 1971: Mrs. Elizabeth Kirkpatrick, 66 of Sesser, died Friday afternoon at the Pinckneyville Hospital. She was born April 27, 1905 in Kentucky, the daughter of William and Lucille Nutter Wallace. Survivors include her husband, Virgil; two daughters Mrs. Virginia Brachear of Saginaw, Mich., and Mrs. Helen Galloway of Aurora; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian church of Sesser with the Rev. John Plunkett officiating. Burial will be in the Horse Prairie cemetery. Friends may call at the Brayfield Funeral Home after 5 p. m. today.
