Obituary from the Washington Palladium, June 5, 1908: Died, Thursday June 4, 1908, at 6 o'clock a.m. William A. Hosier, aged 40 years, 11 months and 26 days. Funeral at the residence at 2 o'clock p.m. Friday, auspices I.O.O.F. Mr. Hoiser had been very sick for several months past, his disease having been pulmonary tuberculoisis. He leaves besides his wife and several small children, a brother and sister, the later Mrs. Jas. Dennison. "Will" was well and favorably known in Washington where he had lived since boyhood, and many will be sorry to hear of his death.
Obituary from the Washington Republican-Register, June 5, 1908: Wm. Hosier. We are sorry to have to annouce the death of William Hosier which occurred yesterday morning at 6 o'clock. Mr. Hosier has been very ill for a long time suffering from tuberculosis. He took to the woods and tried the fresh air treatment but he evidently began too late for he failed rapidly and death came as a release Thursday morning. Besides a devoted wife, Mr. Hosier leaves 6 children to mourn the loss of a husband and father. The funeral services will be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. The Register extends the sympathy of the community to the bereaved family.
