Posted at findagrave.com: Dale was the youngest of three children born to Minnie B. (WALLER) MAIB and William Allen MAIB. He married his high school sweetheart, Katherine K. KIRKPATRICK on 10 OCT 1926. They shared over 50 years together. They are buried beside each other in Riverview Cem.

Arkansas City Traveler, Arkansas City, Kansas, Monday, August 15, 1977, Page 27, Cols. 1 & 2: Dale Maib, 71, Ponca City, former resident of Arkansas City, died Saturday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Ponca City. He was born April 19, 1906 in Wellington to William and Minnie B. Maib. He spent his early childhood in Wichita, moving to Arkansas City in 1918. He married Katherine Kirkpatrick Oct. 10, 1926 in Arkansas City. They moved to Ponca City in 1941. He was a member of the Ponca City First Presbyterian Church where he was a ruling elder and served on the board of deacons. He is survived by his wife of the home; one daughter, Mrs. L. A. (Janet) Foxworth, Fort worth, four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Jack (Thelma) Scott, 916 North B, and number of nieces and nephews. Services will be in the First Presbyterian Church, Ponca City, at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Young officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery, Arkansas City. A memorial has been established in his name with the First Presbyterian Church, Ponca City. Trout Funeral Home, Ponca City is in charge of arrangements.
