Benton County Daily Record, Benton, Arkansas, Friday, October 18, 2002: Joseph Ashley Morrow, 90, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002, at his home. He was born Dec. 21, 1911, in Lincoln County, Okla., to William Lincoln Morrow and Alice Ashley Morrow. He married Freda Thomason in July 1938 in the Norwood Community. He was a farmer and a lifelong member of the Norwood Community Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Thomason Morrow; a son, Marvin Charles Morrow; six brothers, Elvie Morrow, Zack Morrow, Otis Morrow, Marion Morrow, Marvin Morrow and Ivan Morrow; four sisters, Rita Fusselman, Ina Wright, Paralea Farrow and Naomi Morrow.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby Morrow and Judy Morrow and Tom Morrow, all of Siloam Springs, and Larry Morrow and Ana Maria Morrow of Claremore, Okla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, LaVerta Daily and Larry Daily of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Pamela Lenard and Rick Lenard of Arlington, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Grace Morrow of Siloam Springs; a sister, Wilma Crawford of Paradise, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joe Hall. Burial will be at the Norwood Cemetery.
