She was born April 28, 1889, in Roseville to Henry and Mary Taylor Kirkpatrick. She married Herman F. Detterding Nov. 4, 1916, in Roseville. He died Oct. 26, 1950. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Duane (Alice) Huston of Roseville, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, one great [great] grandchild, three brothers and one sister also preceded her. She was a member of the Roseville baptist Church, Women's Club, and Mutual Benefit Club. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Corman Memorial Home, Roseville. Friends may call from noon today until time of services at the memorial home. Burial will be in Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Roseville Baptist Church or Avon Nursing Home.
