Gillham, 84, of Winchester died Sunday, June 25 at the Scott County Nursing Center. She was born May 3, 1904, a daughter of William and Mary Haigh Nothern. She married Paul E. Gillham on April 16, 1965* and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by five nieces, Emilie Lakamp Fricke, Carol Lakamp Smith, Mary Rae Lakamp Brockhouse, Carol Jane Gillham and Karen Jane Gillham; and four sisters-in-law, Eloise Gillham of Winchester, Rebecca Lakamp of Chapin and Wilmith Gillham and Margaret Gillham, both of Jacksonville.
Mrs. Gillham moved with her family to Winchester in 1932. She was a member of the Winchester Christian Church and had taught for more than 50 years in the Greenfield and Winchester grade schools.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester with burial at Gillham Cemetery north of Winchester. Friends may call from 2-8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to the Winchester Christian Church.
*April 16, 1965 is his death date, not their marriage date.
