Wayne County Journal-Banner, Piedmont, Missouri, April 7, 1994: Laura Kirkpatrick Henson, 94, died March 29, 1994. She had been a resident of the Baptist Home in Ironton since 1975. Mrs. Henson was born Jan. 17, 1900. She had lived in Poplar Bluff prior to moving to the Baptist Home. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. On April 15, 1929, she married Fred Henson in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. The funeral was at 10 a.m. March 31, 1994, at the Baptist Home in Ironton. Burial was in the Piedmont Masonic Cemetery.
