Anton Jenkins is Called By death; Was Long-Time Resident. Had Been In Poor Health For Some Time; Funeral Services To Be This Afternoon. The last call came to another of Gothenburg's pioneer settlers Monday evening., in the death of Anton D. Jenkins. In failing health for some time, his condition has been serious for several weeks. born in Germany on Feb. 3rd 1854, he was 82 years of age. He came to the United States 69 years ago, and made his home in Gothenburg the past 24 years. Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Wednesday) at two o'clock from the home, conducted by Rev.
