The Butler Weekly Times, Butler, Missouri, March 28, 1918, Page 2, Col. 2: Mrs. Grant Garner Dead. Miss Rodeska Clark was born in North Caroline, December 25, 1869, and died at her home at Virginia, Wednesday, March 20. When quite a young girl she came with her parents to Indiana, where she was united in marriage to William Terry. Nine children, six of whom survive, were born to this union. Those living are Garland of Blairsburg, Iowa; Homer, Butler; Floyd, who is a member of the army in camp at El Paso, Texas; Clifford [Gifford] who is in the army somewhere in France; and Pauline and Harold at home. All were present when she died except Glifford and Floyd, who arrived the day after her death. After the death of Mr. Perry [Terrry] she was united in marriage with Mr. Grant Garner of Amsterdam in 1912. When a young she united with the M. E. Church and lived an earnest Christian life and when the call came she was ready to go. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and she leaves a large number of friends who deeply sympathize with the loved ones left behind.
