David Franklin Hoskins, 69, of 1224 Deerwood, died at his residence at 9:30 last night following an illness of several years. Mr. Hoskins was born April 7, 1888 in Coatesville, Pa., the oldest son of Jennie Wiley and Green M. Hoskins. He attended the public schools and was graduated from Pennsylvania State College in the Class of 1912. He was connected with the advertising business until his retirement in 1951. Mr. Hoskins was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Edgerton Hoskins; one daughter, Mrs. R. S. Wellons of Arlington, Mass.; two brothers, William E. Hoskins and James Ralph Hoskins both of Williamsport, Pa.; two grandson, Richard N. Wellons and David H. Wellons, both of Arlington. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at Dunbar Funeral Home.
