Chaney Angelina Barr was born 23 September 1860 in Wilson County, Tennessee, and died 9 July 1927. She married 11 December 1879 Joseph Stroud Haralson, son of Vincent Cratus and Ester Ann (Gwynn) Haralson, who was born 30 October 1855 in Wilson County. Joseph Haralson died 21 August 1916 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on his way back from Dallas, Texas, where he had been visiting his brother.

There were five (5) children born of the marriage.
