Funeral for Mrs. Betty Mack, aged 41, of 30 Saxony Circle, who died Monday of a head injury suffered August 15 while roller skating at a church party at a Little Rock rink, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Forrest Lowry III will conduct the services at Brookwood First Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Kay L. Matthew, David Edmondson, Charles Case, Jim Wallace, Paul M. Williams, Alfred Ruck, Mike Bajarek and Warren Walker. Burial will be at Pine Crest Memorial Park by Griffin-Leggett. The Chancery Clerk's office where Mrs. Mack had been employed as a deputy clerk for about eight years, and the three divisions of Chancery Court will be closed Thursday morning. The clerk's office and the First and Second Divisions of court will open at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, but the Third Division, to which Mrs. Mack was assigned, will remain closed all day. Chancellor Darrell Hickman, who presides in Third Division, said that because Mrs. Mack had always been considerate and helpful to lawyers had proposed establishment of a trust fund for her two teen-aged children. Judge Hickman said that former Chancellor Kay L. Matthews would be in charge of the fund and that contributions could be made to Judge Matthews or to Chancery Clerk Arline Turner.
