Arkansas Gazette, Little Rock, Arkansas, Monday, May 11, 1936, Page 12, Col. 3: Clarksville, May 10---William Edwards, 79, died here last night at the home of his son, Ed Edwards. He had spent most of his life in Johnson county. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.,. Monday at Harmony with the Rev. J. J. Partain in charge. Beside the son Ed, he is survived by two other sons, Sid of Conway and Ambrose Edwards of Clarksville; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Raferty of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Mrs. Oliver Bean of Stradford, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Odom of Harmony, and a brother living in Texas.
