Thomas Jackson Aycock

Crockett Houston County Courier, Crockett, Texas, Thursday, December 15, 1966, Page 12, Col. 5: Mr. Thomas Jackson Aycock, 92, of Trinity, died Monday afternoon in a Trinity hospital. Mr. Aycock was born in Leitha Springs, Ga., but had lived in Trinity for the last 41 years. A retired merchant, he was a member of the First Methodist church of Trinity and of the Trinity Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Methodist Church of Trinity, with Rev. Buford Finley and Rev. J. R. Reedy officiating. Burial was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Surviving are three sons, Jack Aycock of Portland, Ore., John Aycock of Austin and Harry Aycock of Trinity; a daughter, Mrs. Cary Washburn of Houston; and eight grandchildren. Waller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
