Mrs. Walter Rains of Packwood died at her home last night after having been in poor for the past two years. She became seriously ill about four hours before her death. She had lived all her life near Packwood and was a member of the Christian church. Jessie Blanch Rains was born, August 15, 1881 at Abingdon, the daughter of Hiram and Ann Ramey Huffman. She is survived by her husband; a daughters, Mrs. Roy Campbell of Brighton; five half sisters, Mrs. Wm. Jacques; Mrs. L. Lepper; and Mrs. Frank Rizor, Fairfield; Mrs. Oren Thompson and Mrs. Clyde McClure, both of Floris; and three half brothers, Bert Huffman, Batavia; William Huffman, Eldon and John Huffman, Packwood. The Hoskins Funeral home is in charge of the funeral, which will be at the Packwood Christian church at 3 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. The body will be taken to the church at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. S. P. Williamson will conduct the service. Burial will be at Packwood cemetery.
