The Houston Chronicle, Houston, Texas, Tuesday, April 4, 1911, Page 3, Col. 3: Mrs. Mittie Francis Berthe, age 42 year, died at 9 o'clock Tuesday at the residence, 409 Portland street., Houston Heights. The deceased is survived by her husband, C. W. Berthe, one daughter and her mother. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, interment being made in Glenwood cemetery. Rev. C. A. Earl will officiate.
