From the book, Oregon County in The Newspapers, Cemeteries & Courthouse, Vol IV, Page 104: Married--Miss Cora Kirkpatrick of Myrtle left last Thursday for Frisco, Texas. Upon arriving there Miss Kirkpatrick was united in the bonds of matrimony with Mr. Chas. Clark. [South Missourian-Democrat, Alton, Mo., 21 Dec. 1911]

On the 1920 Census of Myrtle, Oregon Co., Missouri, Cora Clark is living with her father, H. C. Kirkpatrick and her daughter Mary E. Clark, age 7. The index has both Oklahoma and [Arkansas] noted as Mary's birth place.

On the 1930 U. S. Census of Thayer, Oregon Co., Missouri, Cora Clark, age 40, is a servant/housekeeper for Calvin Rhea, age 69. Cora's daughter, Mary, age 17 is with her.

Cora's death certificate states she is divorced from Charles Clark.

Southern Missourian-Democrat, Thursday, Mary 14, 1943, Front Page, Col. 4: Mrs. Cora Clark of Myrtle Dies. Mrs. Cora Clark, age 57, died at her home in Myrtle on Tuesday evening, May 12th, following an illness of several months duration. Mrs. Clark was the former Cora Kirkpatrick, daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Hiram Kirkpatrick being a prominent Baptist minister of that community. Mrs. Clark has lived in this county all her life and was well known in Alton as well as her home community. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Mary Evelyn Clark, and one sister, Mrs. John Looney, both of Myrtle. Funeral and burial service being held at myrtle on Thursday, May 14th.
