The Gazette, Colorado Springs, Colorado,Tuesday, January 11, 2000: Mr. Daniel Alvin Harmon, 98, died Jan. 7, 2000, in CaƱon City. He retired as a junior high school teacher from School District 11 and then after retiring, taught at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind. Mr. Harmon was born Dec. 21, 1901, in Falls City, Neb. He is survived by a daughter, Patsy Plant; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Evergreen Funeral Home Chapel, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., 475-8303. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Ave.
