The Oregonian, Portland, Oregon, Saturday, August 12, 1995: A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 1995, in Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver, Wash.Mr. Mielke died Aug. 9* in his Vancouver home. He was 90. He was born Aug. 18, 1904, in Ottertail County, Minn., and had lived in Clark County for the past 54 years. Mr. Mielke owned Vancouver Granite Works from 1945 to 1970. His wife, Bernice, died in 1991. Survivors are his sons, George E. of Albany and Richard of Vancouver; daughter, Karen Racich of Bellingham, Wash.; sisters, Clara of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Isabel Mason of Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements: Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
