Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hampton. Douglas was born Sept. 12, 1922, to Herbert and Mable Weidman Oltman. He married Barbara Clason May 20, 1950, in Chicago.
He was an Army Air Forces pilot and officer during World War II. Douglas was an air-tool repairman for John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline. He was in the Zephyr Flying Club.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, Moline; brothers, Herbert Oltman, Hampton, and Leroy Oltman, Georgia; and nieces and nephews.
