Mrs. Canaga was born January 24, 1902, in Mapleton, KS. She had lived in Kansas City, KS, for 61 years before moving to Lathrop, MO, in 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Canaga, in November, 1988. Mrs. Canaga was a Baptist. She was a music teacher and a professional musician, playing in a dance band in Leavenworth during the 1920's.
