He received an undergraduate degree in physics from William Jewell College. He received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Survivors include his parents, Wilbur and Zelma Peters, Kansas City; two brothers, Wesley Peters, Kansas City, and Ronnie Cowan, Peculiar in Cass County. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Blackman Guardian Chapel;burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. today at the chapel.
